I’m a licensed trauma therapist, narcissistic abuse expert, public speaker, and abuse survivor. My soul’s purpose is to help survivors alchemize pain into power, reclaim self-worth, and create a life that feels wildly safe, free, and aligned.
For over a decade, I’ve guided clients worldwide in healing from complex PTSD, nervous system dysregulation, childhood trauma, and narcissistic abuse. My work blends evidence-based trauma therapy including EMDR, mindfulness, somatic healing, and internal family systems (IFS) – with holistic mind / body practices like manifestation, nervous system regulation, and spirituality.
I don’t just teach these tools; I live them. Because I’ve walked the trauma healing path, too.
Hey love, I’m Renee Minx.
I was raised by a narcissistic, alcoholic parent in an environment shaped by control, invalidation, and abuse – physical, emotional, and sexual.
I learned early that love was conditional, that my worth depended on serving others, and that my feelings were dangerous.
I became a master of self-abandonment… walking on eggshells, suppressing my needs, and internalizing shame that never belonged to me.
Like so many survivors, those early wounds followed me into adulthood. I unconsciously attracted relationships that mirrored my childhood – manipulation, betrayal, love-bombing, and emotional chaos. I found myself caught in the exhausting highs and lows of toxic dynamics, constantly questioning my worth and whether I would ever feel truly safe, loved, or at peace.
But I refused to let my story end there. I devoted myself to understanding trauma – academically, clinically, spiritually, and somatically. Despite being told I’d never succeed, I earned my master’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, one of the nation’s top clinical social work programs. I became a licensed therapist, a clinical director of a mindfulness-based addiction treatment center, a supervisor to other therapists, and a TEDx speaker. I built a thriving private practice helping others heal from what almost broke me.
But healing is more than achievements or letters after your name. I did the deep inner work — rewiring my nervous system, healing my inner child, unlearning self-abandonment, and learning to trust my body, my voice, and my intuition. Today, I live a life that once felt impossible — a life filled with peace, freedom, self-trust, and relationships rooted in safety and mutual respect.
I founded Metta Holistic Therapy and my signature program Survivors & Thrivers to offer what I didn’t have when I was in survival mode: a guide who understands both the science and the soul of healing. My work integrates clinical expertise with nervous system regulation, somatic healing, and manifestation, because healing isn’t just about recovering from the past – it’s about consciously creating the future you desire.
I do this work to help survivors rediscover their strength and believe in life again.
Healing doesn’t come from knowledge alone – it comes from compassion and connection.
“No one cares how much you know, until they know how much you care.”

My mission is to help survivors like you break generational cycles, rebuild self-trust, and step into a life where you can truly thrive – a life where you embody your worth, protect your peace, and manifest the love, joy, and freedom you deserve.
If no one has told you this yet:
It is safe to choose yourself now. Healing is possible. And you are wildly worthy of the life you desire.
